The thought of you still Gives me goosebumps; makes me weak With such a longing. Can’t live a day without you, You are more than just my love.
Hands clasped together Strolling along through the woods Stop to steal a kiss, Gaze into your bright brown eyes And see your love shining there.
Quiet evenings That pass silent one by one Comfort my tired soul. To know you are here with me; Will still be here tomorrow.
Cuddled in the night, Sleepy reach out for your warmth My heart smiles, content, I slip back down into dreams, Secure because you are here.
*** This makes 90 consecutive days of writing at least one new poem. I never dreamed I could do that!
