A short poem of the joy of reunion and the sorrow of parting

Back To Your Side

By Profe Steve

Abiding thus so far apart, Yet linger ever near in heart. I’m coming back, back to your side.

Far and wide my steps may roam, My spirit ever longs for home, As to the shore returns the tide.

The pull upon my soul is strong To be once more where I belong, So to the fold my steps I guide.

...

I gave my final hugs and smiles And now I face the lonely miles. All too soon it reached a end.

I woke up in my barren world, Back into life again I’m hurled. Memory now becomes my friend.

There are no ends, tho we must part, For here you live within my heart, Until our paths together bend.
