So many stories to overhear in the airport.

Airport: a haiku tale

by Profe Steve NaPoWriMo #14

Airport waiting zone, A thousand tales passing by Anxious faces hope.

Hurry, got to run Cannot stop cannot slow down, Must make that next plane.

Whispered loving words Overheard unwillingly, We will ne’er forget.

Haunted eyes grow dim, Soon the miles will come between, Distant hopes grow weak.

Glowing happy smiles Reunited now at last, Warm and tender hugs.
