Though she bears the weight Of the world on her shoulders No one sees her weep.
She wears a bright smile To hide the shattered pieces Of her broken heart
She longs to feel whole Wonders if others can tell That she is empty.
Hear me! Please hear me! Her eternal plaintive cry To the dark above.
Will the stars answer? Will they call her to repose? Will she e’er find peace?
Or will she ever Remain locked deep inside the Prison of her mind?
