Hypocrisy is the key to knowing yourself, the powerful, the noisy and those who can affect your life.
It's the thing that can get you most lost even though its attractions are great.
It's the one regretful act that the best of us succumb to at some point. And yet, it is not explicitly a deadly sin nor in the 10 commandments.
That does not make it less harmful, however. It could be argued that public/political relations have been rotting slowly as hypocrisy seeped in over time.
Hypocrisy leads to doubt which leads to cynicism which leads to only bad things. We must be conscious of it both in ourselves and others more than ever.
