What if Rey is Solo’s “bastard” (meaning Han Solo cheated on Leia), and that’s why Kylo/Ben has so much contempt for her? He’s being torn because he’s supposed to love his father, but after hearing that Solo had an affair and left Leia he snaps and turns on Luke and his new Jedi training.

Rey is Han Solo's Child --- from an Affair? - The Last Jedi Theory

Solo said, “Never lie to a woman, they always find out. Always.”

Did Leia find out he had an affair and that spark the fight Han is avoiding?

Could the ship that we see drop Rey off be her mother/mother’s “group” leaving her because they don’t want her?

And on another note, do we know officially who activated Kylo’s lightsaber to make the kill in the first place?

Was it Kylo because he finally brought himself to kill the one he’s had so much contempt and anger towards for being a “disappointment”,

or did Han do it as the ultimate sacrifice because it would make him realize that it’s not what he really wanted and push him further into the light?
