Before I announce the results, I would also like to give a few personal comments on a few poems. 1. @ginny 's "With closed eyes I see": I liked your concept of what the world is versus what it is trying to be. I feel that was a unique PoV you took for the prompt. Great job!
2. @letmewrite 's "seeing through the cracks": The way you portrayed how society has disintegrated was nice. It was your first piece for a contest, and I think you did great! :)
Now for our winners!!
Third place goes to:
@anuponymous for "TEAR DROP THAT WAKES"
Comments of Jury: - A loop poetry requires a flow to be maintained, which was very well executed in this poem. - The background pictures were pretty refreshing and gave it the needed support. - The romantic aura it created was very captivating.
Second place goes to:
@gossamerink for "~Wrinkled Sight~"
Comments of Jury: - Background pictures were stunning (and I myself am a big fan of stars and skies :p) - Imagery used was excellent, with a great choice of words - Prompt carried out very uniquely, I loved the transitions in the poem, unraveling the good and bad our eyes see.
A "Special Prize" to: @shadowdream for "Paradise Behind My Face"
Since I really liked this poem and didn't know where to put it, I have created a special place for it! I'll make this my thing for all my contests now :p
Comments of Jury: - The words were weaved together in a very touching manner, which had me engrossed in reading it. - The vivid description of amour was lovely, really felt like a paradise <33 - The ending was painfully beautiful, I guess that's what I love about it!
Now for OUR WINNERR!!!
