Must all good things come to an end?

If you want to turn back, the words seem louder.
The scribbled smiles get smudged by sunburns
The scribbled smiles get smudged by sunburns as the tears begin to rhyme a rain of ink-stains
The scribbled smiles get smudged by sunburns as the tears begin to rhyme a rain of ink-stains and you don’t know how to dream anymore.
But if words can wind up the ink to imagination,
But if words can wind up the ink to imagination, tomorrow exists.
The story may end,
The story may end, and the pages may not flutter forevermore,
but your heart serenades the voice of summer.
(Aside) Hey, Commaful! I wanted to write a short piece for today, and this one is the result of some ideas that did not form in an expected way (although I am happier with this result than my plans!) and also an unfinished piece that I wrote, for Commaful, from over a year ago!
It isn't too ambitious, but I do like what I ended up with and it does remind me to smile. :) This one can definitely be interpreted in different ways, but I wanted to write something with some hope at the end.
Today may not be the greatest and it may stain the thoughts of yesterday, as if the good moments are ruined by the present, but tomorrow and ESPECIALLY you are just around the corner. <3
I don't think that this piece is too hard to read, but let me know if it is! This piece can be about love for one that you are afraid to lose, but the way I like to read it is about having doubt in your ability as a writer. I hope that the moral, here, fits a lot of ideas, though. :)
I hope that you all enjoyed this short piece, and thank you for reading! I do have a proposal, however, that I will expand on in a future post, but here is my basic idea for now:
In December, I started a multi-part story on VR with a prologue ('Reality is Caramel') and a first part ('Sunflower'), but I got into a writer's block and I have put it on hold. I want to start again, however, but I want to do something special that I thought of before to make each part distinct and very flavourful.
Would any of you be interested in joining me to write a part of this story? My idea is to have a different person collaborate with me for each part, but I will ensure that everything stays cohesive and consistent, in the end. I think it could be fun! :D
You all take care, Commaful, and always write and create! <3 (P.S. I did use a bit of repetition, with some words, but there is a contrast with how those repeated words are used. I hope you all don't mind! :D)
