season 2 episode 1

Ariana awakes in a strange place. Frankly, she hates this whole “waking up somewhere totally different” thing.

(Also, eeee it’s finally out! I was feeling a bit uninspired lately so I’m sorry for posting it this late!)

~previously~

She laid down, her father crouching over her. “It’s okay,” he said, “you can nap. I’ll take you to Aloe.”

She laid down, her father crouching over her. “It’s okay,” he said, “you can nap. I’ll take you to Aloe.” Honestly, Ariana was too tired to even ask about this “Aloe” character, and so she just fell asleep in the cave with her father who picked her up, and carried her through the portal into Hyrrona.

Once again, Ariana had awoken in a strange place. She seemed to be getting tired of this whole “falling asleep and waking up somewhere totally different” thing.

Once again, Ariana had awoken in a strange place. She seemed to be getting tired of this whole “falling asleep and waking up somewhere totally different” thing. She looked around, surveying her surroundings. Her father was only a couple feet away, speaking with another person.

Wait- that couldn’t be a person. It had two large bat-like wings and four scaly legs. Ariana got up quickly. “Dad, who is that?” She asked, her palms toward the dragon.

“Oh, darling. Please don’t burn her, she’s a good friend of mine!” Her father smiled.

“Oh, darling. Please don’t burn her, she’s a good friend of mine!” Her father smiled. “Really? A dragon? Dad, those don’t even exist!” Ariana walked cautiously over to see the dragon.

Its head was light green, as well as its neck and body. The wings were a lighter shade of green, and there were little dull spikes along its back.

Ariana extended a hand out to touch the scaly skin of the dragon, when suddenly it shifted before her eyes and she realized she was holding her hand on the shoulder of another human!

“How did you- but it can’t be- you’re-” Aloe tried to find words. “You’re Ariana!” She finally blurted.

“How did you- but it can’t be- you’re-” Aloe tried to find words. “You’re Ariana!” She finally blurted. “Um- yeah,” Ariana said. “At least, the last time I checked.”

All of a sudden, Ariana was pushed aside and her father was bombarded with questions about her.

All of a sudden, Ariana was pushed aside and her father was bombarded with questions about her. “Can she transform yet?” “Does she show signs of-” “How has she survived?” “HOW IS THIS HAPPENING I DON’T UNDERSTAND GROWL.”

Finally, they were led inside a small hut, which Ariana assumed was Aloe’s home.

Finally, they were led inside a small hut, which Ariana assumed was Aloe’s home. Ariana was asked by Aloe if she wanted tea, but she refused kindly.

Then Aloe said something that would haunt Ariana’s life forever.
