I wish I could shout it from the rooftops, the sound my heart makes as it pitter-patters. I feel golden, golden- I feel Golden. Golden! As glorious as the rising sun, breaking over the waves for just a peek of your sugar plum lips. for a mere glance at your star speckled eyes, flickering and glimmering and whispering “Golden.” I feel as golden as the curls of your hair, the strands that wrap around my fingers. I want to shout it from the rooftops. “I am golden.” To scream until the whole world hears, until my throat can only whisper that one word to you, “Golden.”
I wish I could shout it from the rooftops,

the sound my heart makes as it pitter-patters.

I feel golden, golden- I feel Golden. Golden!

As glorious as the rising sun,

breaking over the waves

for just a peek of your sugar plum lips.
