“Don’t make me regret this.” Will sneered. “Now clean up- you disgrace!” I glared at him and about two hours later I found cold water getting used to clean me up.
Sometimes I wondered if he was really my son. Dollie was back up. She didn't know what was going on. And she asked who the old man was.
She didn't recognise me at all? Now I had a black coat on top a white T-shirt. I had a black crystal roped around my neck, which had been confiscated earlier.
A purple strip of fabric acted like a belt to a pair of black pants. On my left arm was that tattoo. I traced the dragon’s head. Cade looked disgusted for some reason.
“Don’t tell me that cockroach was friends with Jack and Gosring!” Hissed Cade underneath her breath- but still hearable to Dollie.
“Don’t ask me! You never told us nothing. And by the way Tann is going to be coming soon. He contacted me.”
“How are those two?”
“Oh. While you were in nutty ville, Gosring’s dead but Jack is off getting drunk.”
“Cade! Those two are honorable!” Protested Nick. They continued bickering as a tear traced down my face.
“So everything changed. Huh? And how did you contact him?”
“Phones.” Replied Dollie.
“What’s a phone?”
“Wait! I just need to connect him to Tann!” Interjected Cade. Dollie looked questioningly at her. She raised an eyebrow and made a ‘ghost’ face.
Dollie rolled her eyes and tapped the glass on the device. Suddenly someone’s face popped up. I jumped backwards.
“Did they imbed his essence into a Machaau Holding Device or something?” That was advanced. Especially for only half a century.
“No stupid! It takes something called a video of the other person and projects it so you can see it.”
“My dad’s retarded.” Muttered Will at a volume he must have thought I couldn’t hear, because when I looked over he freaked out and backed away from me. The Tann guy turned up.
He had black hair and black eyes with a white T-shirt and tan shorts. His shorts looked over sized and his shirt was untucked.
Couldn’t people get normal clothes nowadays? We spent a long time just explaining things that it was night time before soon.
I began cooking after being interrupted several times with Cade’s numerous complaints.
It must have been three times I had heard; “Can you even cook?”
Will had replied. “No he can’t. I’ll cook.” In which she had given up on both of us and cooked herself. We were stuck eating our own food because no one else would try it.
“So how do you c-rusaders fight that c-ourageously?” Cade said catching herself at the ‘cockroaches, and the curse word.’ I frowned.
“It is a side effect of being part 99 soul.”
“My categorization for 99 lives killers. I can enhance or expand almost everything. However it also affects my mind, to become more like one of them.
And clearly the 99 soul is not built to help both human and 99 killers. Someone gave this power to me to help me survive- however it affects me.”
“You mean something on accident? I’m sure it wasn’t on purpose!” Argued Will.
“If it was on purpose it was to turn you into a monster and have you drive yourself mad! No creature that killed my mother would help us!” I sighed.
There was no point in arguing- he actually had somewhat of a point. However he had somehow gotten it as well, but wasn’t affected. He wouldn’t admit it.
“And how does blind-y see anyways?”
“I’m Will! Not ‘blind-y’! I have lots of powers. Flight, Location, Teleportation, Time, and Creation. I also have chakra. So I can still find you!” He moved to whack Cade in the face.
This was going to be ugly.
“Oh yeah?!” She teleported and got smacked anyways. “You overgrown cockroach!”
“I notice what you’re doing. You switch your particles of matter with something.
When you’re in particles you can’t be on the offensive but there’s no need for defense unless of course someone captures you. You can’t change locations yet, so you might just get captured.
And when I find the spot you’re going to, you’re left defenseless for half a second so I can attack you.” He took a deep breath. “As for your other powers, invisibility is useless.
I doubt the Machaau Skysurf kid can do anything good. Au concealment is stupid. The copy ability may work on them only.
It’s not your original power and you can only hold it for fifteen minutes but you don’t turn into an animal every time you use it like my stupid old man.” Everybody looked furious.
Cade tried to whack him and missed, she quickly tried to portal and he just chased her. When he arrived Dollie stood up and punched him in the jaw.
“Knock it off you two idiots! I’m tired of playing the straight man! And don’t think because we don’t have good as powers as you that I can’t hit you!” He jumped backwards.
I looked disapprovingly at all of them in general- over fifty and he’s still causing trouble. As for the rest of them.
Was I really expected to work with not even twenty year olds yet? They didn't have experience. But they will. The little nagging voice was tugging at the corner of my mind.
Shut up! I couldn’t afford to think about what I’ve lost. I’ve just lost too much so far.
