he drowned her with the
crushing weight of nothingness.

she loved him a little too much

when they saw him as a small, trickling water stream, she saw him as an ocean filled with promises of forever

when they saw you as a deathly flood causing casualties, she saw him as a saving oasis in a faraway desert

when they saw him as a disastrous, raging hurricane, she saw him as a soothing rain on a summer day

when they saw him as a half empty water glass, she saw him as a glass that was half full

when they saw him as a transparent raindrop, she yearned to see through him, but she couldn't

he could destroy or sustain life, the power rested in his hands, and he made the choice to drown her
