This was lightly inspired by an anxiety attack I once had at 4am in a Starbucks while writing an essay. I tried to make it feel like the reader was blacking out between breaths almost in a way that I come in and out of reality in an attack. Hope you enjoy, give me any feedback as long as it's constructive of course.

"Anxiety isn't always bad," I tell myself one late night. Sitting in the coffee shop hours fly.

My chest is stiff.

Time passes.

My arms tingle.

Time passes.

Is my heart still beating?

Time passes.

I can't feel my hands.

Time passes.

My head spins.

Time

Where am I?

passes.

I can't

Tick,

br

Tick,

eath.

Tick,

Tick.

Time passes.

I can't ask for help. I need to scream but I can't. There's a whole in my heart that I can physically feel pain from.

And yet, Time still passes.
