This one is long, and more of a story, hope you enjoy :)

Twice upon a time

there was a brave child

there was a brave child who fell in love

there was a brave child who fell in love a child of knowledge

prepared to face the world head on

full of bright insight and desire to learn

not at first interested in the likes of mortal desire

but who was he...

but who was he... to deny himself the human condition

but who was he... to deny himself the human condition the small portion known as love

he didn't look for it,

but yet it found him

found him in his weakest time

she was a beauty above all

her mind sharp

her words clear as diamonds cut from the earths core

the fateful meeting lead only to joy...

for a time.

soon that joy was quickly turned...

reversed by the etchings of death,

reversed by the etchings of death, laid upon his object of never ending fixation

reversed by the etchings of death, laid upon his object of never ending fixation that so long ago earned his heart

but no...

the blade of man is cruel

even crueler in the hands of death

as she took mans blade and struck herself down

his heart

his heart like hers...

his heart like hers... was split in two..

his heart like hers... was split in two.. then four.

his heart like hers... was split in two.. then four. broken again and again by the battering pains of this futile life

shattered by the scorns and jeers

scattered by the fall of a mighty mind

desire put out

hope crushed and dreams coming to an end

he never did get back up

until one day long from then

he stood

and started to walk

slowly at first and then with greater speed

rapidly heading towards a newfound light

but wait

theres another

another light

two lights

but which is right?

of fallen mind he could never know

so he stumbled and stopped

then a brighter and third light appeared.

he moved towards that light,

he moved towards that light, only to find it dim to his gaze and touch.

he moved towards that light, only to find it dim to his gaze and touch. allowing room for the others to blaze brightly.

he moved towards that light, only to find it dim to his gaze and touch. allowing room for the others to blaze brightly. The next light was dim...

a very dim light, feeble in nature

then he saw more

there were many dim lights

too many

he looked to himself

standing proud in a field of pain

the only one able to get back up,

yet he never recovered

he then saw his own light,

he then saw his own light, a light far brighter than those around him

so he knelt

reached out to a little light...

and touched it,

giving it a little gift of his own light

watching it grow in his eyes

he continued

touching as many lights as he could

until he had no more light to share

he marveled at the wonder as he watched the lights all move away

bright and lively once more

they danced in his view

then... one by one they left,

left to find a better life

very few were left...

but in the distance he saw a few more...

but suddenly he was pulled

pulled by the unseen forces of this condemning world into the darkness that was miles thick.

pulled by the unseen forces of this condemning world into the darkness that was miles thick. No more light..

pulled by the unseen forces of this condemning world into the darkness that was miles thick. No more light.. no more joy..

pulled by the unseen forces of this condemning world into the darkness that was miles thick. No more light.. no more joy.. just memories.

pulled by the unseen forces of this condemning world into the darkness that was miles thick. No more light.. no more joy.. just memories. Time and time again he tried to get back up

he tries to find the light but to no avail

instead he stumbles

and makes his way through the darkness slowly picking up the fragments of his heart so long forgotten

this is his destiny

in this tomb shall he rest..

in this tomb shall he rest.. and none shall love him again
