A small town in the middle of nowhere.
It was built from nothing but a river.
Long ago where a Native American village once stood strongly in the banks.
Now a high school and a bank and a police station and a church and a family owned gas station and a family owned restaurant is all that resides there.
As the big trucks that were born in the year of 1997 roam free on the small streets, the kids walk on the sidewalks and sometimes forget to admire the mysterious river.
It was there many years before the Native Americans and it will stay there years after the dirty farm kids and their redneck ways.
The town was my childhood home and it was built from a river.
