In the city of God,
A miracle had taken place,

The Phoenix

By Shubhkarman Singh Sandhu

Risen from the ashes. It rose once again, To explore the world again, To live a life once again!

In the city of beliefs, In the city of God, A miracle had taken place, Perhaps, once again.

In awe, they watched it, Looked at it baffled. It’s, creator. It’s, destroyer.

Despite its ultimate fate, It didn’t lose hope. It tried to reach the top, It tried till its last breath.

Oh! Look at it. As its journey ends. The want to reach the top, The want to live. The want to explore the world. All, ends.

Risen from the ashes. It rose once again, In the city of beliefs, In the city of God, A miracle had taken place, Perhaps, once again!

I wrote this poem 6 months back for a competition. Thus most lines won't make sense since it is out of context. Although, now it is open to multiple interpretations, so comment what you think this poem meanings!
