"If your teeth get any closer to my scavenger," the ice dragon hissed. "I'll freeze breath your face off."
"That'll give me an excuse to rip off that stuck-up nose of yours," Star shot back. "Make my day, icicle breath."
"OK, OK stop," a voice said. A SandWing brushed by Star and Moon and got between them and the IceWing. "No one is slicing anyone or freezing anyone."
The SandWing had brown spots down his back and on his nose, also on his nose was a small scar. In one of his ears was an amber earring that twinkled in the sunlight.
"Tell that to HIM," Star said, jutting her chin at the IceWing. "Acting like I stuck an icicle up his stupid snooty snout."
"She has my scavenger," the ice dragon growled, pointing an accusing claw at Moon.
Moon held the scavenger a little more closer and slightly coward into Star.
She couldn't read the small critters' thoughts, but she could sense its emotions. Which were fear, panic and VERY loud.
