Poem about anger.

Wrath

Anger bubbles under my flesh

Dark and oozing, hot and fresh

It taints my heart in hues of red

Of scorn and spite it fills my head

The madness is consuming

Engulfing my very being

And I yearn to lash out

To scream and to shout

But I keep it underneath

Behind my gritted teeth

And I swallow it down

With an unsavory frown

For it is far more wise

To hide beneath lies

Than to let the beast within

Indulge in fiery sin
