I wrote “Blooming Life” as a way of describing the effects of reading my poems. I had women in mind (Women make up 60 percent of my readers) while writing this poem so I had to have elegance and beauty put into it.

The first stanza

“Blooming spoken words blossoming from out of my writings abloom your mental soil with my captivating seed of knowledge saturating your fertile soul with enriched vitamins. Inundate your life with spiritual waters it’ll cultivate weeds to assimilate thoughts you never thought to experience.”

What I am saying here is my poem is a flower that spreads its seeds (pollen) into the mind of my readers. The seed of knowledge which is knowledge of self. You must have knowledge of self and with this poem it’s a reminder to your soul it’s like nutrients for my reader. I provoke deep thoughts about spirituality (Inundate your life with spiritual waters it’ll cultivate weeds to to assimilate thoughts you never thought to experience.).

“Trimming your overgrown hedges in the heat of a beating sun while sprouting rosy tulips span from your head to toe.”

What I am saying here is when you start to understand yourself and begin cutting away the negativity and the extra noise from your life, you begin to see the beauty in yourself.

“But remember that Moondance we did a week ago in Houston when the stars were glistening as your feet was dancing to the beat of your own drum. It’s a bit less than a moment when you and I locked eyes for the very first time in vegas and then converse about japanese dinner in Oakland.”

Here, I am referencing my poem “Moondance” this stanza goes to my close female friend who has been going through a lot recently and she needs to start going with her heart alone and focus solely on that. Her and I have moments when we will talk about any and everything in our life and the vibe feels like we are all over the place. From Vegas, to Oakland during our meal times. Hence “Japanese dinner”

“I unlocked some new emotions as you started to unfold and brought in your devotion as I noticed you became more closer and focused on my poems and got lost like a raft in the ocean. Waves flow is the only motion your body shows when you are lost in my words swaying to the vibrations in my soul.”

This goes to my women readers as they start to feel different, or new emotions whenever they read my poems. They’ll become indulged with my work as they pick up a flow with my words.

“I am words

It could get worse

As it rains outside my window I speak in verse.

Water tides rising from sea to sky that is when the clouds cry.

A rift in the sea I see I can’t believe so I have to walk through just for me.

When I come back just know I have something for all to seek something so precious and unique and by the end of the week you’ll see there is more to cultivating your mental tree with forever green leaves that bleeds rich minerals for your future children to eat and your whole family to feed.”

Here, I am explaining myself going on journey within myself so I have to leave home and grow and there will be ample tears and as I go through this journey. When I return I will have much knowledge to feed to everyone.
