The young me is gone. Make way for the old me.

she.

I have wandered near and far,

Given much and little

To the recesses in my mind.

I have traded;

Bartered;

Bargained,

And, yet, still, I have no answers.

She is gone from me.

She, with the glinting eyes.

She, with the naive heart.

She, with the happiness of thousands.

Giggles and rushing of uncut grass

Echo often in my ears.

Where has she hidden now?

What crevice did she dive to?

Oh, child,

Child of mine,

Child of me,

Child that is me;

Please come back.

Please.

I could use your help.
