I packed the clothes i need And only those. I packed my self care items And my makeup And my shoes And i was ready to leave. I sold my furniture, Bought an air mattress and A tent, and i packed those too.

I packed the clothes i need
And only those.
I packed my self care items
And my makeup
And my shoes
And i was ready to leave.

I sold my furniture,
Bought an air mattress and
A tent, and i packed those too.

I packed the clothes i need And only those. I packed my self care items And my makeup And my shoes And i was ready to leave. I sold my furniture, Bought an air mattress and A tent, and i packed those too.

I cleaned my phone out To only necessities And i did just as i planned. I left. I just drove away With the money in my wallet And the life i had left to live. I left and i didnt come back, Not for years on end. And when i came back...

There was a gust of wind Providing a breath Of fresh air, it was home. I was home and i missed it. I needed to flee, But i needed to come back, too. And while i was back I learned that I was never meant to stay.
