A poem of missing someone you know as your own organ

By Sarah Hamilton

I miss this girl

I took my rib and build a home in her

We are always calling each other back

Across rivers and valleys and miles of parting

I am somewhere with her and she is with me

Withstanding battering of storms

My paint has been worn, her bricks reesotteed

But we are still here

New seeds anxious for the sunshine
