Proluge Bev Marshal
The night before Halloween I was at work.Well going home. It was cold, raining, and dark. Of course me being my forgetful self, left my phone at home, and my flash light on my desk.
I won't lie. I'm a paranoid person. Everything scares me. But this was different. The noises I heard where from no animal I ever heard. And it was NOT from a person.
The noises sounded like a growling of some sort, and something soft being torn apart. I was terrified. Wouldn't you be. I started to turn around and flee, when I stepped on a twig.
At that moment I ran. I ran without looking behind me. Except for the time I turned around and saw it. But it wasn't an it. It was a person. A person I knew, know. That person was, my ex.
" George? What are you doing out here scaring the life out of me?" I asked. He didn't answer. He just seemed to stare at me. Then he started moving towards me.
" What do you want? Huh. What is it?" That's when I realized he was carrying something. A binder. No. A picture album. The one I made him when we where a couple.
" Bev. I just want what we all want." He smiled, and continued to walk toward me.
" And what do we all want, George?" I asked. Again he just smiled and walked closer to me. Almost in my face he stopped and bent his head down to mine.
I won't lie, I thought he was about to kiss me. Then he bent to my ear and said the scariest thing he will, or would ever say.
" We all just want to float. Float on the blood of our enemies." Then I looked down at his hands. They where red with blood. And his fingernails where growing long and brown.
" Bev. I killed Ben. Your best friend. If you do not get back together with me I will kill Billy." I believed him. I mean wouldn't you.
But what would you do if someone said to get back together with them or they would kill your fiancee.
" George . . . I . . . will never get back together with you. EVER." I tried running away from him, but he grabbed my arm.
" Man. I wish you hadn't have said that." Then he slashed me in the face with his sharp nails.
Chapter 1 Leanne Marshal
A year later. Today I turn on the news, and I see the face of my daughter. The only thing I cared for in the world. The news brought back painful memories.
The news reminded me that my daughter was missing, still. And that she was most likely dead. But I won't believe that until they find her body. Until then, I will try to find her.
When the news changed to store products being bad, and rotten, it reminded me that I had to go to the store for supplies. So I walked out the door, and went to my car.
I started my car and went to Ace Hard Ware store. At the store, I ran into Bev's ex boyfriend. George.
" Hi Miss. Marshal. How are you today.
It is such a nice day isn't it?" I guess he remembered that today was the one year anniversary of Bev being missing because, out of no where he started talking about how he missed her too.
And that he was still in love with her, unlike his brother. Her ex fiancee.
I knew that was a total lie because Billy often came to my house, and went to her old stuff, and pictures I have of her.
I knew he missed her because, every time he came over he would not stop crying. Well he never came to me and cried, that would be unnatural for a man.
But I would hear him crying and murmuring to the walls. I think that he was actually talking to her.
" Why, George. You know full on well that your brother loves Bev. He loves her more than you ever will, and that is a fact young man. He always comes to my house to remember her.
Do you?" I think I got him in a trap, because he looked like a shocked bunny rabbit.
" Miss. Marshal. Why would he need to remember her if you loved her?" He thought he was smart.
" George. You always need help remembering a person. The human brain can not remember a person they have not seen in a year." Like that he was no longer a shocked bunny rabbit.
He was an angry bear.
" I will get you. Just like I got your daughter." Then he started walking away.
" What did you just say? What did you do to my daughter?" I started screaming. He didn't answer. He just kept on walking. Walking out the door, leaving me angry. So I ran after him.
I jumped on his back, and started punching him.
" What did you do to my daughter? WHAT. . .DID. . . YOU. . . DO. . . TO. . . HER? " I kept punching and hitting him. I hit him until the police came. And even then I tried hitting him.
Two hours later, I was in a police room. They asked me what had happened at the store. I of course told them what he had said. Good news for me, a camera was focusing right on us.
Bad news for me, he had never said ' I will get you. Just like I got your daughter.' But I knew he did. I know he did.
Once I got out of that police office, I went straight home.
To get ready for tonight. The night, I would finally know what happened to Bev.
I would finally know.
Chapter 2 Billy Denbrough
I missed her. I missed Bev so, so much.
I missed her even more when I went and visited my mom, and brother. I missed her even more because, my brothers whole room was filled of pictures of her.
The scariest thing was, not all of them looked like when she was 15. They almost looked . . . new.
My brother has always been obsessed with her. Even when she was mine.
On my way to my mom's I got a call from Bev's mom, Leanne.
" Hey. What's up?" I asked " He did, he did it." She started rambling.
" Who did what?" I asked. This always annoyed me, when people said something about someone else, but never says there name.
" Your brother. He did something to Bev." " What? No he couldn't."
Then she told me her whole story about what happened at the store today. I won't lie this was believable.
