THE SHADOWS EDGE

 In the shadows I was hiding unseen to his eyes  In the darkness I was residing My aching heart in disguise    

The moonlight glistening just a few Heartbeats away Are you listening To what my heart Needs to say?

The sun beams brighter  but in the shadows I stayed My soul feeling a bit lighter  If only my heart could play  

There in the Shadows I quietly dwelled Silently Dreaming Could He Unmask my souls disguise? Why is my Heart To shadows clinging?  

Then From the Shadows Edge I vowed to always be around With my abiding soul and pledge, I swore To Step into the Light So Love could be “Found”   Would “He” be there?

So , no longer Hidden  In the darkness I said Goodbye to the Shadows near I said Good Ridden s To my Hearts Fears

“I L O V E Y O U!” I whispered my nervous heart beating like drums

“There you are!!!” You sweetly proclaim With a smile And a wink!

I close my eyes in disbelief! I’ve had this dreams it seems Forever! Always hiding in the Shadows and then admitting That “ I Love You”

I open my eyes and realize you’re Laying beside me

“Wake up Darling” I heard you say! “ Your having the same dream, my dear” “ You know I will always Love You”

I guess we all hide our dreams In the Shadows Edge just waiting to admit our Love Do you dream in the Shadows Too?
