Dearest – I’m sorry I’ve been gone a while but I tried to take a shortcut and shattered something along the way.
Dearest – I had been wanting for my very soul to crack itself open so that I could spill all that I am and bleed a truth onto these pages.

I tried to wrench out the sun inside of me, before It was ready, only to find myself taken by surprise, to be left numb and freezing as I cradled It close to me stillborn and scared.
Dearest – I know I’ve been gone a while, but I promise to wait this time.
I promise to listen to the beats of my heart, until, unmasked, It comes out of my guts, And, freely, lets me give It voice
