Flawed? Me?

by revrjm

Some call me flawed,

Because I'm a little rough around the hinges.

Others would call me flawed

Because I lack eloquence and grace.

You might call me flawed.

Because my need of education.

I don't think I'm flawed,

because I don't succumb to intimidation.

I have discovered, the hard way is, the only way to be intimidated, is to allow intimidation. It is a learning process. To feel inferior to others is nothing short of lunacy. God made us all with certain gifts and talents, likes and dislikes. Some love purple. others despise purple. I happen to love purple. I refuse to be intimidated by those who hate it. I wear purple with pride! LOL Thank you again for the kind words.

I loved this. I hope some of the young'uns here read your words and take them to heart. I don't remember when I stopped being intimidated (picked on) It was somewhere around first grade. My heart goes out, and it always has, to those who allow themselves to be intimidated. I was brought up in the country. Maybe that was the difference. Thank you for this great poem!!!!!
