My take on today’s prompt!

Holly wouldn’t

Holly wouldn’t settle Not with her dreams on the line

Flashing lights and rolling cameras

Each and every detail engraved in her mind

Cocktail parties and breathtaking yachts

The glitz and glamour come at a price Consuming the girls who were so nice

Eaten away by society’s standards

Swimming in a sea of clothes that once hugged her A shell of the girl with stars for eyes

Are you really famous without a stint in rehab?

Stress induced the agents mutter Let her rest, she’ll be like new this summer

Holly wouldn’t settle but what she didn’t see The grass isn’t always greener, even on million dollar property
