I don’t know what will happen next but I await for what is fate to unveil itself

Waiting Game

I await for things to unfold,

Like a flower unveiling its petals,

Who knows the beauty it hides until it decides to show itself,

Who knows what could change all within a glimpse,

a few words,

a caress of the soul,

I don’t know what the future holds but I await for it to unveil itself,

The game played is the question of ‘what if’?

A first kiss, And what will happen next?

A moment, unsung, since there is no one to sing.

A time, the mind can only drift to.
