When I was in the plains,
the light would never cease.
And now I'm in the woods,
the light's covered by trees.
When I was in the plains,
I knew just where to go.
And now I'm in the woods,
and now I feel alone.
When I was in the plains,
I felt above it all.
But now I've lost control,
as I begin to fall.
When I was in the plains,
I did not need to pray.
But now I'm on my knees,
as my power fades away.
I'm going through the woods,
trying to find the plains.
The woods are dark and deep,
the only light a flame.
But the farther in I go,
the more I want to stay.
The woods so dark and deep,
the beauty is in change.
And through the biggest trees,
I still can see the rays,
of sunshine that I felt,
when I was in the plains.
There is peace in the dark,
I'm no longer afraid,
as I search for "Me" I learn,
the beauty is in change
