So this is something that I use to deal with wanting to self-harm. It helps me de-stress and focus on something other than wanting to cut. It's called a coping box.
Mine is just a cardboard box with some stuff in it that helps me calm down.
In it, I keep: - a stuffed animal - some books - a notebook with some inspirational quotes - a list of songs that help me calm down - a stress ball or other fidget tool - a sketchpad and some colored pencils - a journal that I use to keep track of and deal with how I'm feeling
