Like a moth to a flame, I am drawn to your light
Seeking shelter from the cold winter night
You gave me warmth that made me fight
The bleak, harsh world, who sees only in black and white
Like a rainbow you came, right after the storm
And brought color to my life, and the much needed warm
You taught me to love, and changed me -- reform
Told me that I was safe, completely away from harm
Like a shooting star, brightly you came.
But alas, you left me all the same,
Now I sit alone full of shame
With just myself to hate, and to blame.
