Doctor Who and Harry Potter are like peanut butter and jelly. They go together perfectly, and always make us feel better when we’re sick.
Of course, it’s not just the incredible characters, obsessed fans, and British accents that connect these two shows! Many actors have appeared on both Doctor Who and in the Harry Potter films.
Check out the list below, and let us know who we missed in the comments!
David Tennant: David Tennant played a truly creepy Barty Crouch Jr., but we like him best as the Tenth Doctor.
Michael Gambon: Everyone’s favorite headmaster also appeared as Elliot Sardick in “A Christmas Carol.”
Mark Williams: Forever-dad Mark Williams played Rory’s father in the Doctor Who episode, “Dinosaurs on a Spaceship” and, of course, is the always loveable Mr. Weasley.
Toby Jones: Believe it or not, the squeaky voiced Dobby is played by the same man who haunted Amy, Rory, and the Doctor in “Amy’s Choice.”
Bill Nighy: Rufus Scrimgeour is a fear monger in Deathly Hallows, but Bill Nighy gives comfort to Vincent Van Gogh in “Vincent and the Doctor.”
Shirley Henderson: Shirley Henderson’s characters have some bad luck: Moaning Myrtle haunts Hogwarts bathrooms, and Ursala Elton gets “absorbed” by a monster in “Love and Monsters.”
