The Lover Poets Write About

by popgoes

I can't be someone you miss

I can't be your 5am kissing wish The only thing I can be is regret That's buried deep within Burrowed and hiding

You'll notice it in the heat of a moment

Where you'll see me from across a crowded room Because you still look for me mindlessly

A Match Will Strike

Ignite Burn And suddenly you'll remember

Heavy breath and thighs pushed against cold window seals

On rainy days, You'll remember soft skin, And a fruity fragrance that never smelt the same as the day before

You'll remember cherry stems

Tied by my poisonous tounge And the words That dripped from it "I can't do this, I'm sorry."

Very poignant. You tie the first stanza and the last stanza together tightly. The rhythm of the verses lends itself to the lyrical written word. The pictures are emotionally charged and fit well into your planned message. T^he mental image I recieved was sanguine but sincere. This is a universal feeling you are writing of.
