I wrote this a while ago. I felt lost and although I knew I was sat at a coffee shop, I couldn't help but feel like a narrator just observing the characters in a book...without me in it.

No Reality

I'm sat here

alone of course

But as I sit here

I see a girl with bright pink lips

and Londonish eyelashes

I see a boy with pale grey eyes

and delicate fingertips

My gaze turns to the window beside me

To the world outside my comfort

Trying to find the the words to describe my feelings

Yet I struggle to grasp the whole picture

Painting itself with no color
