To Make Me Free

I've been here forever,

I've been here forever, can't you see this world isn't that for me.

It hurts to be here

It hurts to be here I can't see what is true

I've been here to long

I've been here to long it's going to hurt inside.

To wrench myself away

To wrench myself away the only life I ever knew

My mind says what's good

My mind says what's good but emotions are what hold us back

To wrench ourselves away

To wrench ourselves away it breaks what is inside.

I've been here forever

I've been here forever can't you see it's wrong?

I'm broken from these turmoils

To long the sun hidden

Freedom will hurt more

but we'll heal

won't we

To wrench free from these tortures

To wrench free from these tortures you can't keep me here forever

it won't be leaving

not forever

for we've wrenched our hearts to hard
