A voice over actor is judged by different parameters according to Peter Salzano a famous voice actor and blogger.
Below are some of those judging factors that you should prepare before going for an audition.
1. The Reading
Before even the actual casting the client already has an idea of the voice he is looking for. But it depends on the person to use the voice to interpret the reading copy.
2. Audio Quality
Audio quality plays a very important role while auditioning.
You might fulfill the requirement of the client but if the audio quality is not up to the mark, the chances are you'll lose the opportunity.
For some jobs accent can be an advantage but if you don't have an accent there is nothing to worry about. It is more important whether you are able to learn the accent when needed.
