opened windows

I’m on my knees begging I tried opening all my windows I welcomed the sun in And now I’m drowning out from the inside With all this light there is no where left to hide

And I know I asked for this I know what i implied Thought the divine would feel like a kiss But I’m sunburnt with streaks down my cheeks from when I cried

I want to come clean I want to feel my atonement Guess I was looking for a place to lean I didn’t know it was a moment

Now the sun is bleeding through me Exposing what I did and didn’t know I’m learning to do the things I should be Without the light I just didn’t know
