A mother isn’t just someone who feeds you, or cares for you. A mother loves you with every fiber, even if you disappoint.
A mother isn’t just the person who birthed you--even though that’s a contributing factor--a mother loves you for you. She carries your dreams and aspirations with you.
Supports you when you have a bad day, when you make a mistake. She loves you no matter how much you shriek and yell at her. Her love can’t be washed away like writing in the sand.
It’s the sand itself, it changes with the storm, but forever there. Yet I wouldn’t have a mother without her mother, or her mother before her.
I will never become the mother I want to be without my mothers example.
