The Good Luck Man (Poem)

The good luck man has stricken me dead.

Everything is now hanging by a thread.

My morals,

My motivation,

Everything that kept me from extinction.

My emotions,

My pride,

Nothing's in the inside.

Just a bland darkness that I've been sentenced to explore.

Like Lewis and Clark,

But so much worse.

There are days when I'm happy,

And others when I'm sappy.

Days where I want to speed up the clock,

And others where I want to live 'till the resolution of my mind.

The solution to my rhymes,

And the poison to the never ending thymes.

The mint that burns,

Inside my mind.

And the green that hurts,

With self-loath.

Weed killer doesn't even work.

The good luck man has stricken me dead.
