Welp part 9 is out, enjoy! :)

P.S: See if you can find anything weird about the word 'Retsnom' heh. Not like there is any... right? I mean, it's so clear, if you don't spot it, you've gone backwards *wink wink*

Half Creature S2 P9 ~By Prishy

"So she wants to kill us-?" I said conversationally. Sara nodded. "O-okay." I said. "Why?" Why? There were a million reasons why. Maybe to avenge her now dead brother. Maybe because she thought our blood was filth. Maybe she wanted to take over the world, like Birsha did. Or maybe she simply hated us. "Well, if we're going to find her before she finds us, Amari,"

Sara said slowly. "We're going to have to- you know." "Wh-?" I started, before Liam walked into the room, whistling. A silent message passed between me and Sara. š˜›š˜¦š˜š˜ š˜©š˜Ŗš˜®, she mouthed. "Liam- look at this."I said, showing him the paper. "What? Oh, oka-" he started. Then he looked at the paper. And for the first time, his voice failed him. His smile faltered.

"I thought it meant something like that," he said. "What are we doing? We need to find Hecate before she finds us-" "We know. Where are the others?" ~~~

"Well- what are the odds. Her brother's dead because of us." Audrey said a few hours later, all of us sitting outside behind the building, where nobody could hear us. "What are we doing here? We should be looking for her. Can't we just start looking at the Dark Creek tomorrow?" So that's what we did. At the break of dawn, me and the others said our goodbyes to

Harold and set off for the Dark Creek. "Amari-" Harold pulled me aside just before we left. "Where are y'all going?" "Well- It's really complicated," I said uneasily. "I'll tell you when I get back. And that'll be soon, I promise." š˜š˜§ š˜ š˜Øš˜¦š˜µ š˜£š˜¢š˜¤š˜¬, one side of me thought. š˜šš˜©š˜¶š˜µ š˜¶š˜±, the other side argued. š˜ŗš˜°š˜¶'š˜š˜ š˜£š˜¦ š˜«š˜¶š˜“š˜µ š˜§š˜Ŗš˜Æš˜¦.

"Um, anyway," I said, biting on my tongue hard. "We'll be back, okay?" He managed a smile. "Well- alright. Be back soon." Guilt erupted inside my body. I wanted to tell Harold so, so bad, I was half a dragon. But I would tell him later. Yes. So me and my friends set out for the Dark Creek, and away from the pub, the place I used to call home.

A few hours passed. Away we trudged. After what felt like a couple hundred decades, we'd reached the Dark Creek. I could see why it was named what it was. "The lake is black. All- all black." I said. "It's because of the fish who live in it," Liam said, looking aghast. "Yeah. The fish are called Retsnom, and they're horrible."

Ava said, also looking horrifed. "Retsnom?" Sara said. She snorted. "That's the weirdest name I've ever-" "It's named like that for a reason. Retsnom-" Ava started, but she stopped at what was in front of us. I turned, slowly, and saw the most horrid thing you could set your eyes on.
