Irrevocably shattered

Broken| Poem

by nocturnalprism

"I'm sorry."

You hurt me.

You made me feel worthless.

You made me feel pain.

You scarred me

With your taunts

With your lies

With your whispers

You made me cry myself To sleep every night

And every day, you made me feel As if I would never, Ever belong.

You would laugh at me

With that wicked gleam in your eyes;

The one that found its way Into my nightmares

Of you.

You broke me.

And now, you think You have the right to fix Everything.

You're sorry?

Well, guess what?

I won't forgive you.

This was exquisitely painful. It had a fierce quality that I'm appreciated. The conversation made an indelible mark on the reader. Great job!!!!!!
