Devilish fear

Now you may be wondering what the devil fears, well lean in close, lend me your ears. he's afraid of battles of the bands. and especially by southern hands......

He never plays his fiddle in Georgia, Johnny beat him twice, We all know the tale of a lost golden fiddle, and how the red one failed to regain his device.

The devil will play in Dakota, ain't many fiddlers there, he don't want to loose his last fiddle, make of dragon bone and selkie hair.

but worse then, still, of Georgian defeat, there's something else still that makes him shake and stop his feet.

have you ever been to Texas son, with their battles of the bands? The devil wouldn't play with his life, or for all of a human's hourglass sands.

don't you wonder why the devil's had a scare? it's cause of the way they play music, and what they do down there.

cause every person knows, like the back of their own hand. if you're gonna play in Texas, you've gotta have a fiddle in the band.
