Everyone has the fear of crying in public, to be judged for something your heart can't contain. But it's not weak to cry, not for pain, not for sadness, not for empty moments.
Tears are memories, memories that sometimes hurt so much there's nothing else you can do but cry.
Those memories are a fountain in a gray cloud of endless rain, and at some point the fountain will overflow and you have to let it out.
Holding it in doesn't make you tough, it doesn't make you better than anyone else because deep down you want to cry, you're only human and no matter what anyone else thinks, you have a heart.
You have emotions, they're what make us who we are.
And you can't escape the memories from your past, crying isn't a way of showing that you let the pain get to you, it's a way of coping with it.
Sometimes it's not the tears you're letting out, it's the pain you're letting out that's been building up in you for too long, the fountain overflowing again.
A tear doesn't show your weakness it shows your strength, you're showing other people that your life is not perfect and that you're not afraid to show your emotions,
to show that something isn't right and it hurts, a memory of pain is a tear of emotion that you need to let out. We all fear crying in public, but we all cry alone.
Being alone makes it worse, it makes us feel isolated, like we have no one to turn to.
Tears show emotions, emotions make you human, being human comes with pain, but showing it does not make you a crybaby.
