@kevinshin the guys at workflow are SOOO smart. But because it's not free......didn't bother trying it out. Didn't see enough needs for me to do it outside of the IFTTT could do. @david Launch Ticker is great! But it's only free for a period right? my 1 year just ran up. (Btw, did you see Pencil in the ticker ;) )

@themasterho I subscribe to the launch ticker for all my tech news @sydney Evernote felt too bulky to me. Additionally, the lack of offline notes on mobile was disappointing. I like the layout of keep better as I can organize the notes in any order I like. I keep 7 notes, Monday through Sunday, at the top of the list with things I have to do for each day of the week almost like teux deux. I also just find it faster to take notes on

@nakurane nice! I use all of these as well except for Quizlet. I'll be checking that out the next time I need to memorize things! @sydney I also use Nuzzel a lot and have been reading Inside's digests! I just searched for and added that FB photo saving recipe btw. That's a really good one! Have you guys tried Workflow for iOS? It's like IFTT but between iOS apps. Haven't played around with it too much yet but some of the recipes are interesting.

@david @nakurane agree IFTT is amazing. I love the ones that share things to evernote or Pocket too. I used to use it to send me a text message every time we had a new user sign up (we'd get an email with it). My favorite recipe is to save images I'm tagged in on Facebook to google drive. Since Facebook photos sometimes get deleted by the creator, I like being able to automatically save them. Not sure if it still works, but I remember turning it on a bit ago and having it sync. And David, why Google Keep over evernote? I literally just switched from Keep to Evernote haha @themasterho Nuzzel is the best for news. Just make sure you follow good people on twitter. You can also subscribe to things like the Mattermark Daily if you want tech news. General news, I've been liking the inside.com daily brief. @slisam is a beast when it comes to find good things to read. She ends up sharing amazing stuff for me all the time. She can probably share some tips too.

What sites, blogs, and or apps do you guys use to get your tech/business/general news from? I always seem to be behind in terms of those things. @david @sydney @lelper @nakurane

@nakurane anything that shares articles I read to buffer like posts from medium and from pocket. Additionally there's one that saves my contacts to a google sheet.

Actually, the Control slide was just a concluding slide for the post but maybe I should make the app a reality! Apologize for the misunderstanding!
