Just something I threw together. I probably should've spent more time on it. But, we ain't getting any younger 😊

Aluminum and Steel

Aluminum and Steel By: Mike Mezz

I just need some space to breathe Everything is smothering me

Let's drop it all and get away for awhile Staying in one place just ain't my style

I know I should just settle down I never really liked this town

Don't worry baby, you can come along Nothing is right and nothing is wrong

These days I have four good wheels Let's seek solace in Aluminum and steel

It'll take us out there for alittle while The years will fall away with every mile

We'll see the country like never before You and I can be traveling troubadours

You know we ain't getting any younger I've always been the kind to wander

There's nothing left here for us to stay Can't you hear the road calling our name?

Throw some clothes in your old suitcase There's nothing more we need to take

These days we have four good wheels Let's find peace in Aluminum and steel

It'll take us out there for a little while Our love will grow stronger with every mile

You've always wanted to see Niagra Falls We can even picnic at the National Mall

Let's not even make any real plans Wherever the road takes us is where we'll land

Traveling around is the fountain of youth Our hearts will grow stronger and true

We can stand on top of Mount Whitney Don't forget Grand Canyon Village

Baby, we have four brand new wheels Let's take refuge in Aluminum and steel

It'll take us away for a little while And we'll grow younger with every mile
