Again not a poem, several TWs!

Tangled sheets

Looking through the silvery mirror she didn't see her reflection,

Looking through the silvery mirror she didn't see her reflection, rather saw the reminiscent of night long passion,

Looking through the silvery mirror she didn't see her reflection, rather saw the reminiscent of night long passion, his fervour!

A blush slowly crept into her cheeks,

A blush slowly crept into her cheeks, still bearing marks of love...

But tangled sheets on her marital bed also brought back memories of her angry mother,

But tangled sheets on her marital bed also brought back memories of her angry mother, scolding her about tangled sheets & ruffled pillows...

Smiling to herself she again tried to untangle her hair -

Smiling to herself she again tried to untangle her hair - as much as a mess as the sheets!

Smiling to herself she again tried to untangle her hair - as much as a mess as the sheets! This time her blush spread to her neck -

Smiling to herself she again tried to untangle her hair - as much as a mess as the sheets! This time her blush spread to her neck - well marked with love too!

As she stared into the mirror,

As she stared into the mirror, a contented 'woman' looked back

As she stared into the mirror, a contented 'woman' looked back instead of a fidgety 'girl',

As she stared into the mirror, a contented 'woman' looked back instead of a fidgety 'girl', eyes swarming with dreams...

Months passed,

Months passed, tangled sheets witness to sunny days turning stormy,

Months passed, tangled sheets witness to sunny days turning stormy, shining mirror turning hazy,

Months passed, tangled sheets witness to sunny days turning stormy, shining mirror turning hazy, dreams turning bleak...

But as a dutiful wife,

But as a dutiful wife, she never failed to untangle the sheets,

But as a dutiful wife, she never failed to untangle the sheets, cheeks still red -

But as a dutiful wife, she never failed to untangle the sheets, cheeks still red - with marks of hate...

Tick tock - the unrelenting clock runs...

Tangled sheets get untangled

Tangled sheets get untangled but her hair doesn't...

Tangled sheets get untangled but her hair doesn't... Mirror gets cleaned up

Tangled sheets get untangled but her hair doesn't... Mirror gets cleaned up but her eyes don't...

Tangled sheets get untangled but her hair doesn't... Mirror gets cleaned up but her eyes don't... Marks fade

Tangled sheets get untangled but her hair doesn't... Mirror gets cleaned up but her eyes don't... Marks fade but the hurt doesn't...

Then one morning,

Then one morning, the sun was finally shining on the mirror,

Then one morning, the sun was finally shining on the mirror, a warm breeze through the open window

Then one morning, the sun was finally shining on the mirror, a warm breeze through the open window was gently swaying her petite body

Then one morning, the sun was finally shining on the mirror, a warm breeze through the open window was gently swaying her petite body hanging from a rope of tangled sheets -

Then one morning, the sun was finally shining on the mirror, a warm breeze through the open window was gently swaying her petite body hanging from a rope of tangled sheets - marks of freedom around her neck...

A tangled sheet can speak volumes if only one cares to read!
