A bright light.
Rebecca wakes to find herself lying on the cold floor of a jail cell. "What happened last night?" She asks, holding her throbbing head.
The last thing she could remember was being at the Gregsons house babysitting their daughter, Danielle. Rebecca had just put the little girl to bed when everything went dark.
"Did I black out?" She thought, slowly getting to her feet. A rather robust male officer enters the room.
"Mooney" it said on his name tag. The officer drags his baton along the cell bars, "Good morning, sleeping beauty. Are you ready to confess?" "Confess to what?" Rebecca asks.
Mooney sits at the desk on the opposite side of the room. A disgusted look upon his face, "Killing that poor little girl. What kind of monster are you?"
Little girl? Was he talking about Danielle? Rebecca suddenly felt nauseous. She quickly runs to the toilet and empties her stomach before passing out.
Another bright light.
Rebecca wakes, slowly. "What happened to Danielle?" She wonders, feeling groggy. Attempting to sit up, Rebecca quickly realizes she's strapped to a hospital bed.
She screams while thrashing her limbs, trying to get herself free. In the midst of her panic, a young doctor barges into the room; two nurses behind him.
The seasoned women try to hold the young girl down while the doctor inserts a needle into her arm. Rebecca tries to scream louder but passes out before she can.
A bright light.
Rebecca's back on the floor of the jail cell. She sits up -- her head spinning. "What is going on?" she asks, trying not to vomit.
Was she drugged? Why did Mooney say she killed Danielle? Rebecca closes her eyes, trying to remember what happened the night before.
But, she can't remember anything past putting Danielle to bed. Trying to stand, Rebecca's knees fail her. She falls, hitting her head on the cement floor.
A bright light pulls Rebecca back to the hospital bed.
The young doctor is sitting in the chair across the room. Attempting to move, Rebecca realizes she's still strapped down.
"What's going on?" She wants to ask, but she can't talk. Rebecca tries again... but to no avail. She begins to panic and thrash.
The doctor approaches the bed, "You can't talk, dear." After he injects another needle into her arm, Rebecca passes out once again.
No bright light.
Rebecca wakes on the floor of the jail cell. The room is pitch black. "Where is everyone?" She thought.
Using nothing but the moonlight, she walks to the cell door and finds it unlocked. Cautiously, she exits and walks along the darkened hallway. The police station seems...empty.
Rebecca quickly finds her way to the front door. She reaches for the door knob. Just as she starts to taste her freedom, Rebecca is struck from behind.
