by michaelschulze

It's been a while since you've heard from me

I'm roaming around to see what's to see in our beautiful big Country and believe you me there's plenty to see

I've scoured The Hills where our bushrangers did rome I've been to a cave they used to call home

I've visited the town and the grave of a man inportant to me and a lot of our early Poetry Henry Lawson was his name and as a poet he had much Acclaim

I've visited the goal that was so cruel where they hung Ned Kelley oh what fools a bushranger was he but he never started out to be Well he has gone down in our history

I'm in a town full of history it's Tamworth our Nashville you see our home of Country music where all the musicians of country come to make thair fame

It's also the place where they had the first commercially available electricity way back in 1888 not long ago for some Countries but it goes down in our history

Although Europeans are new to this country our Aboriginal people tell us they go back fifty million years in our history

Well i will continue to rome and see what's to see i find it all interesting to me until we meet down the track that's all from me

I am happy to hear from you. I was hoping you were going to provide poetic narrative from your "walkabout" . What a country. Deserts to rain forests, tropical reefs to Antarctic waters, towns built underground, it makes Australia so damn unique. It is still on my "bucket list". Michael, you are one of Australia's lesser known treasures.
