A gurney through life

God the devil and what is left of me

by michaelschulze

There once was a wife with me until god decided to take her away from me

Just a little bit each day you see But oh so painfully

At this time the devil started helping me by supplying me with the drinks you see

And as God once more plugged in his knife of misery The devil poured out another drink for me

Until God finally took her away from me . Then the devil shook hands with me and we parted company

Well now I'm alcohol free and my wife is out of pain you see

And God and the Devil both shake there heads as they look at me

his was a beautiful sanguine love poem. The descriptive verses let us have a window into your thoughts at a most tragic time in your life. You recovered and now you are conquering. Great job!!!!!
