Writing as therapy

DRIFTING

by michaelschulze

I drift in and out between two worlds as someone would drift in and out of consciousness .

One world is the world of reality in which my physical self exist`s .

The other world is a world of continuous meantal torment.

I live and fight in this world continuously trying to bring my mind back into the physical world .

It is on the occasions when I break free from this other world that I take the opportunity to write.

And i am finding the moor i write the moor time i spend in the world of the living .

Am i winning the battle with my own mind only time will be the judge of that.

Writing is therapeutic. It became my way of escape when I lost almost everything that meant anything to me. So my friend, like you, I wrote to escape pain. Today; seven years later I write to bless, encourage and challenge. Write on my friend, we need your words.

I am surely glad you are writing. I wholeheartedly agree that writing and then publishing it fantastic therapy and you don't have to talk to a boring therapist. Great post!!!
